As a managing director in Dallas, Sufiana Tian is responsible for client service, specializing in capital markets, technical accounting, and SEC reporting.
Sufiana Tian brings over 23 years of experience to Riveron. This includes being a strategic business partner and taking chief financial officer and chief accounting officer roles for public and private companies with global operations as well as head of financial reporting and analysis for investment banking with over $275 billion assets under management. Her experience includes accounting and business advisory services such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings, private placement/144A, deal structures, business improvements, ERP conversions, SOX compliance, remediation of material weaknesses and significant deficiencies, SEC reporting, and IFRS conversion. Sufiana has worked in a variety of industries, including life and general insurance, consumer lending, private equity, registered investment companies, consumer products, technology, and energy.
Prior to joining Riveron, Sufiana held leadership positions at Neuberger Berman Alternative Investment (Capital Analytics) and PwC, serving high-profile public and private companies.
Sufiana currently lives in Dallas and serves on the board of directors for Ascend Business and Professional Leaders, the Philanthropy Committee for Texas Wall Street Women, and is an executive member of the Women Energy Network.
