Senior Managing Director

As a senior managing director in Dallas, Andy Baker is responsible for sourcing new clients, managing existing relationships, and delivering exceptional client service on projects.

My role at Riveron allows me to serve corporate and private equity clients, and bring a level of experience and differing perspectives to each unique situation. I enjoy building relationships and helping clients solve complex problems within the transaction life cycle.

Background

Andy has worked for over 20 years in leadership roles providing transaction, accounting, and financial advisory services for public and privately-held companies. Andy has worked on over 500 transactions, with deal sizes ranging from $5 million to $2.5 billion. He provides both buy-side and sell-side transaction support, including evaluating historical earnings and performance, analyzing net working capital requirements, assessing net debt, performing carve-out and synergy analyses, and providing guidance on sale and purchase agreements.  He also has Big Four public accounting and audit experience and has served a variety of industries including energy, software, distribution, manufacturing, and retail.

Andy is actively involved with local Dallas M&A organizations. He has authored two forensic accounting articles, which appeared in ABF Journal and Texas CEO Magazine.

Andy lived in four different states growing up but considers himself a Texan. Before joining Riveron, Andy was a vice president in the Financial Advisory Services Practice at AlixPartners, LLP.
