Background

As a managing director in Riveron’s accounting advisory practice, Amar brings over 25 years of experience in audit and accounting advisory, focusing on growth-stage companies across the technology sector. Amar has led numerous successful technology IPOs, helping clients navigate accounting topics most relevant to high-growth technology companies, including revenue recognition, debt and equity financings, share-based payments, business combinations, internal use software, SEC filings and financial reporting.

Amar helps privately held companies enhance their financial reporting environments, assists pre-IPO companies with their financial reporting obligations in approaching public markets, and supports publicly traded companies with SEC reporting and technical matters by providing co-sourcing and outsourcing services. He also has deep experience working with companies in the software/SaaS technology and insurance space.

Prior to Riveron’s acquisition of the Effectus Group, Amar was a Partner there, co-overseeing the execution and delivery of complex accounting advisory and co-leading a team of 50+ consultants.
