As a managing director in Dallas, Michelle Laitinen is responsible for client service, specializing in Transaction Services, including buy-side diligence and sell-side diligence.

I joined a Riveron comprised of approximately 25 employees in one office. The growth and change since then is phenomenal – the caliber of professionals attracted, locations launched, and overall evolution – it has been quite the experience.

Background

Michelle Laitinen has more than 16 years of experience assisting both private equity and corporate buyers and sellers with financial and operational due diligence. She has worked on over 300 transactions with both domestic and international clients in a variety of industries, including energy services, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, marketing, advertising, and consumer products. Additionally, she developed and implemented the TAS service line training at Riveron that is still in place today. Michelle enjoys collaborating with clients, guiding them through the due diligence process, and providing advice to help meet their needs.

Michelle is actively involved with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas, serving on a panel for the grants allocation process. Michelle is a native of Arkansas and has been in the Dallas market for the entirety of her career.

Prior to joining Riveron, Michelle worked as a senior financial analyst at Invesco and manager in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice in Dallas.
