Background

Steve Adams has experience in leading a wide variety of client projects involving both ESG and traditional investor relations (IR). In ESG, he has helped companies elevate third-party ESG ratings, produce sustainability reports and proxy statements, execute materiality assessments, and enhance corporate governance practices, among other projects. In IR, he has worked on engagements including M&A communications, hostile takeover defense, capital markets days, IPOs, earnings calls, shareholder perception studies, investor targeting, and more.

Prior to his current role, he served as managing director and chief of staff at Clermont Partners before its acquisition by Riveron. He was also a director within Gartner Inc.’s corporate finance and investor relations practice. At Gartner, Steve spent six years leading all research and advisory engagements with Gartner’s IR and ESG clients. Steve also has experience in federal fiscal policy and Congressional affairs.
