Riveron prepares a government services company for post-merger integration following recent acquisitions
Riveron supported PAE, a government services provider, through planning and executing the integration of recent acquisitions. Riveron helped to ensure a smooth transition with the successful integration of the chart of accounts, implementation of inventory control procedures, and conversion from a minority to majority ownership. In addition, Riveron conducted a cost impact study on combined segments to assess impact of the value-added on the general and administrative expenses. From implementing the complete revenue process, including documenting revenue recognition conversion and loss contracts memos, to recording opening balance sheet entries, Riveron worked hand-in-hand with the client team to guide them through all process ensuring a successful integration.
Riveron prepares company for valuation of four acquired businesses
Riveron was engaged to assist a private equity investment firm, roughly $1.8 billion AUM, with the rollup strategy for four newly acquired air and heat businesses. After starting the project with financial diligence, Riveron adapted to fulfilling additional client needs. Additional consulting services included valuation data assistance, application of the business combinations guidance and advising on opening balance sheet entries within the client’s ERP platform. These deliverables allowed the auditors to review the methodology for assessing opening balance sheet cut-off and valuation. The timely completion of the valuations for the four acquisitions subsequently allowed for a successful audit and timely issuance of annual audited financial statements.
Riveron performs financial due diligence and integration assessment supporting the lifecycle of an acquisition
NexusTek, a Denver based managed IT company, needed help executing against a balanced growth strategy which included organic platform growth and an ambitious acquisition and integration program. To support their rapid growth, Riveron was asked to perform both financial due diligence and an order-to-cash integration assessment in response to NexusTek’s largest acquisition to date. Riveron partnered with both entities to deliver a Quality of Earnings report, as well as recommendations on software selection and process improvement to integrate the acquisition into an improved order-to-cash function.
