As a managing director, Josh is responsible for sourcing and managing relationships and is primarily focused on managing transactional projects such as capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and carve-outs.
Background
As a Managing Director in Riveron’s Accounting Advisory practice, Josh Motter brings more than 13 years of experience in various accounting leadership roles serving both public and private companies across a variety of industries.
Josh leads large, complex engagements, working with both the office of the chief financial officer and private equity sponsors. He has extensive experience with SEC registration statements, M&A and carve-out projects, technical accounting, financial reporting, and operational improvement projects.
He focuses on managing cross-functional teams that help companies enter the public market through SEC registration statements, handling all aspects of accounting and reporting requirements, including preparing annual and interim financial statements under enhanced reporting requirements, management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A), Article 11 pro forma financial statements, and responding to SEC comments.
