As a managing director in Detroit, Daniel is responsible for restructuring advisory services with a focus on crisis management and other complex financial and operational situations.

Background

Daniel Schultz specializes in providing crisis management, financial, operational, and other restructuring advisory services to boards, management and creditors of underperforming companies, both in and out of court. His experience includes financial modeling, liquidity management, business plan development, constituent communications, financial and operational analysis, viability analysis, due diligence, valuation and litigation consulting support for a variety of constituents in restructuring and turnaround situations. He also has a wide array of industry experience including automotive, construction & engineering, semiconductor, traffic & tolling operations, and healthcare, among others.

Prior to joining Riveron, Daniel was at Plante & Moran, PLLC, where he specialized in audit and tax services for clients. He also worked as an adjunct graduate teacher leading an undergraduate class at Michigan State University related to the principles of managerial accounting. Daniel is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Turnaround Management Association, and American Bankruptcy Institute.
