Brian Allen, Senior Managing Director and Chief Accountant, oversees SEC consultations for Riveron’s engagement team and clients.
Background
Brian Allen oversees matters related to national office consultations and SEC consultations for Riveron’s engagement teams and clients. Brian has significant experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 805 business combination accounting, and accounting for complex debt and equity topics.
Prior to joining Riveron, Brian served as team leader for multiple ASC topics for a Big Four national office in New York and represented the firm on the FASB Joint Transition Resource Group for ASC 606 and IFRS 15 and the AICPA revenue recognition working group. Previously, he was an Audit Partner principally in Silicon Valley, a CFO of a public software company, and on the staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
