As a managing director, Lara Long will be responsible for leading client engagements focused in Atlanta and the southeast, with specialized support in technical accounting and SEC reporting.

Background
Lara brings over 30 years of experience in accounting, audit, and financial leadership roles include SEC reporting, financial reporting and technical accounting, mergers & acquisitions, corporate development and capital allocation, ESG/Sustainability reporting, investor relations, internal control compliance and executive/stock compensation reporting/compliance. Lara has significant experience with both public and private companies (including multi-national companies) across a variety of industries including manufacturing, distribution, technology and financial services.
In her depth of expertise, Lara held a national appointment to FASB’s Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council from 2020 to 2024. She currently lives in Atlanta with her husband, two children, 3 cats, and a dog.
