Sandra Bell
Managing Director
As a managing director, Sandra Bell is a member of the interim management practice and is an experienced public company CFO, specializing in SEC reporting, capital markets, investor relations, and capital structuring.

Background
As a CFO for both public and private companies, Sandra has successfully built strong finance organizations based on three principles: leveraging a deep understanding of a business’s economic and strategic drivers, delivering disciplined financial reporting and decision tools, and mentoring smart, talented people who can grow and add value.
Sandra’s ability to envision how all facets of a business link together to drive success forms the cornerstone of her approach to disciplined reporting and transparent visibility into key drivers across the organization. Translating underlying economics into actionable KPIs and valuation metrics underscores the power of the finance organizations she has led. Sandra’s proven financial leadership has ensured not only accurate reporting, but the right tools needed to support informed decisions, rational capital allocation, and thoughtful risk management.
In her last CFO role at Tiptree, Inc., a NASDAQ listed financial services holding company, Sandra built a public company finance organization from the ground up. This process began with a detailed assessment of the needs of the organization, resulting in the establishment of KPIs, bringing in the right people and processes to deliver accurate financial reporting, and actionable decision tools to align management on value drivers and growth metrics. Sandra’s financial leadership gave management the visibility they needed to make informed financial and capital allocation decisions and deliver succinct stakeholder messaging. With a clear understanding of Tiptree’s cost of capital and return on equity combined with a focus on liquidity and practical risk management, management was empowered to deliver sustained returns and increased value.
