Riveron Appoints Chris Featherstone as Chief Transformation Officer

Riveron is proud to announce that Chris Featherstone has assumed a new role as its first chief transformation officer. In this capacity, he will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s overall strategy and driving accountability of its ambitious growth plan.

“As Riveron continues to grow, being able to think creatively about our future will be an important part of our continued success,” said Riveron Founder and CEO Landon Smith. “Chris’ dynamic leadership and unique ability to anticipate change will no doubt be invaluable as Riveron endeavors to scale even greater heights.”

“Today’s companies must stay ahead of tomorrow’s challenges in order to drive true value in our rapidly changing world,” Featherstone added. “I look forward to partnering with our people—Riveron’s greatest asset—to strengthen how we serve our clients and deliver unparalleled results when it matters most.”

Featherstone brings to his new role more than 15 years of experience facilitating corporate growth and strategic initiatives. He joined Riveron in 2011, serving in its Financial Advisory Services practice. In 2019, he was named executive managing director of strategy. In this capacity, he led Riveron’s acquisition strategy, playing a vital role in the firm’s acquisitions of Conway MacKenzie and Winter Harbor. Before joining Riveron, Featherstone worked at PwC and The Regus Group.

As CTO, Featherstone will help chart the strategy that will serve as Riveron’s strategic vision as it continues to identify new ways to support its clients and care for its people. Additionally, he will lead Riveron’s M&A strategy and carry forward the firm’s integration efforts.

In addition to CEO Landon Smith, Featherstone joins Dana Donahoe, Chaitan Fahnestock, Lacy Lange, Kreg Nichols, and Jeff Zappone on Riveron’s executive team.
