As a Managing Director in New York City, RJ Prossner is responsible for leading restructuring projects in both the public and private sectors.
RJ Prossner specializes in providing liquidity management, financial modeling, strategic planning, turnaround and operational
management services to both performing and underperforming companies. As a restructuring advisor, he has represented the interests of debtor and creditor constituencies in out-of-court restructurings and formal bankruptcy settings in a variety of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, higher education, consumer products, retail, distribution, metals & specialty metals, telecommunications and technology.
RJ is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association and the Association for Corporate Growth. Prior to joining Conway MacKenzie, he served as an Engineering and Project Finance Manager, responsible for leading a team of program managers and resident engineers, in the development of electro-mechanical switches for the North American, European and Asian OEM automotive industry. RJ has experience in developing resource planning and optimization models, along with leading lean and value engineering initiatives. He also has extensive Program Management experience, where he has lead crossfunctional teams located around the globe. RJ has lived and worked overseas in Europe for about half his professional career and speaks fluent German.
