Background
Susan Boykas is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience serving extensively in both operating and consulting roles. She has served in multiple C-Suite roles for companies across various sectors, whether experiencing quick growth, transition, or underperformance, and she has a deep concentration specifically in the Retail, E-Commerce, and Consumer Products sectors. She has been instrumental in leading numerous companies through formidable situations and has an expertise in working with private equity companies focused on professionalizing, growing, and transforming portfolio companies.
As an advisor, she works with Board of Directors, senior stakeholders, and management teams to provide strategies for growth, reorganization and revitalization, often assuming interim leadership positions. As a senior leader, her financial guidance, proficiency in operations, and well-honed business acumen provide strategic oversight and execution, which has led to several successful turnarounds under very challenging conditions. Most recently, Susan was instrumental in leading the turnaround of a pure-play, $800M E-commerce DTC grocer; guiding through meteoric, pandemic-driven growth and subsequent sales at a robust valuation.
On a more personal note, Susan is a true Jersey gal where she has resided most of her life and raised her four children.
