In preparing for revenue-generating operations, a new energy management solutions provider needed to stand up its core technology to support key business processes. As a greenfield company, the technology landscape had to first be designed and then efficiently integrated to allow for streamlined data flow and automation.

How we helped

Riveron was engaged to assist with the selection, design, and implementation of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, and to help stand up the supporting architecture. Working with the client, we established the guiding principles and future state requirements to ensure both near-term and long-term needs would be met. Then, we conducted process workshops to define the system configuration requirements and create the ERP design blueprint.

Following the selection of NetSuite as the ERP, our team implemented it along with other solutions identified to increase automation and integrated usage data from operational sensors to automate customer billing. In support of the implementation, we also managed other third-party software providers on behalf of the client, developed customer user procedures, and supported the deployment and go-live activities.

Results

Working with Riveron, the new energy solutions provider achieved its targeted go-live date for the fully implemented ERP and supporting solutions. With the tailored and integrated technology infrastructure in place, the new business was able to meet its operational and accounting needs with simplified, automated back-office processes, an enhanced accounting workflow, and streamlined data.
