Raheel Patel

Background

Raheel is a managing director and advisory leader at Riveron, servicing Fortune 1000 and PE backed clients through various stages of their business lifecycle, helping them prepare for change and deliver exceptional outcomes and results. He is responsible for driving growth across several practice areas including transactions, accounting advisory, technology enablement, and more – bringing the best solutions to our client’s most pressing challenges.

Prior to joining Riveron, Raheel was a Director at DLC in their Chicago market, where he was responsible for new business development, account management, practice development, and talent acquisition. He has over 15 years of finance, accounting, and transformation/project experience working within pharmaceuticals, consumer products, retail, and financial services. His consulting focus has centered on acquisition integration, carve-outs and divestitures, shared services, finance transformation, FP&A, business unit reporting, and project management.

Earlier in his career, Raheel held FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, and Program/Project Management roles at The Home Depot in Atlanta. Raheel began his career in New York City in Venture Capital and Financial Services Strategy Consulting and within an internal consulting team at Lehman Brothers and Neuberger Berman.

Raheel grew up in India and has lived across 3 continents including a year volunteering in Botswana, Africa. He is an avid traveler with over 80 countries visited and is working towards the goal of visiting all 195 officially recognized countries in the world.
