As a Managing Director based in Detroit, Matt is responsible for sourcing and leading strategic performance improvement engagements to realize EBITDA improvement in the industrials and transportation industries.
Background
Matt has more than 20 years of experience partnering with clients to drive transformative change across the business lifecycle. His work takes a data-driven approach to identify and isolate the true drivers impacting performance and blends operational and financial expertise to make businesses stronger – delivering results to the bottom line to improve EBITDA and cash flows. He has deep experience in the automotive, transportation, aerospace, hospitality and gaming, and construction sectors with functional expertise in field operations, procurement, footprint optimization, manufacturing, and SG&A efficiency
Prior to joining the firm, Matt led the Operations Center of Excellence team for KPMG’s strategy practice. Prior to KPMG, Matt began his private sector career with the Boston Consulting Group before joining PulteGroup as Director of Homebuilding Operations and Conway MacKenzie.
Prior to joining the private sector, Matt proudly served as a Naval Officer as decorated Naval Flight Officer and is a graduate of Top Gun.
