As a managing director, Kim Hai is responsible for sourcing and managing client relationships, leading client engagements, and managing the risk advisory’s business affairs in New York.

Background
Managing Director Kim Hai Tan brings over 14 years of experience in public accounting and industry roles to Riveron’s Accounting Advisory. He sources and manages client relationships, leads client engagements, and manages the business affairs of the risk advisory practice.
Kim Hai’s subject matter expertise includes risk management, internal controls, process improvement, SOX implementation and program management, IT general controls, and operational audits. He has led SOX program implementation efforts from planning to execution, remediating dozens of material weaknesses. Kim Hai has led scalability efforts to streamline, enhance, and automate processes and controls and has designed new controls that reduce error risk and enhance scalability.
Kim Hai works effectively with external auditors, process and control owners, senior leadership team, and the audit committee. Prior to joining Riveron, he led the internal audit function of a fintech company, developing an audit plan, identifying IPO milestones, and mapping SOX controls implementation.
