As a managing director in Dallas, Ellen Smith is responsible for relationship development and account management.

Since joining Riveron in 2011, I’ve had the benefit of developing lasting relationships with our clients. I feel fortunate to be able to pick up the phone and talk to them, not just as clients, but as a trusted friend.

Background

Ellen’s responsibilities include practice development and client relationship management and recently completed a two-year rotation as the Dallas Office Managing Director. She has over 25 years of experience in strategic growth, consulting, and client services with a special emphasis on the professional services and financial industries. She is dedicated to identifying business trends and emerging transactional opportunities that benefit both new and existing clients.​

A Dallas resident for over 30 years, Ellen plays an active role in the community and has served on numerous boards for charitable organizations and is currently involved with Community Partners of Dallas, Kappa Kappa Gamma Tablescapes Grant team, and the Dallas Opera Auxiliary.  Ellen is also a member of the Executive Committee of The Rawls College Business Advisory Council at Texas Tech University, the NACD and the past President of the Secured Finance Network – Southwest Chapter.  Ellen was included in the 2023 DCEO magazine’s Dallas 500 edition recognizing her role as a business leader ​in Dallas-Fort Worth.​
