As a senior managing director in New York City, David leads the firm’s aerospace, defense, aviation & space practice, is responsible for project leadership, and drives client relationships.

Background

David has more than 18 years of restructuring, corporate renewal, crisis management, and project management experience. He brings practical, hands-on leadership to engagements based on his extensive experience in sales, marketing, market research, business development, and operations as a functional vice president, general manager, chief executive officer, board member, and chairman of the board of directors. David has substantial experience in aerospace, defense, distribution, consumer products, sporting goods, aerospace maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), and general industrial verticals. More specifically, he also has deep knowledge of representing debtors and creditors in aerospace manufacturing and airline bankruptcy proceedings. His broad manufacturing experience includes precision machining, grinding, forging, casting, complex assembly, and kitting. David is a Six Sigma Greenbelt and also holds a commercial pilots license with multiple jet type ratings and more than 3,000 hours total flight time.

Prior to joining the firm, David was president, chief executive officer, and cofounder of Cold Mountain Capital LLC., a family front office private equity investment platform focused on acquiring and managing underperforming aerospace, defense, and heavy industrial manufacturing companies. Prior to his time at Cold Mountain, David was a global marketing and market research manager at Procter & Gamble and served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army on both active duty and in the reserves.
