Riveron Expands Capital Markets Advisory Capabilities, Adding Industry Veteran Jeff Bernstein

Share:

Riveron, a national business advisory firm, announced the expansion of its Capital Markets Advisory capabilities with the recent appointment of Jeff Bernstein to senior managing director. Jeff brings over 30 years of experience on Wall Street to Riveron, first helping companies go public from the equity sales and capital markets desk at a bulge bracket bank, then as a portfolio manager and head of research for both a dedicated technology fund and a diversified equity fund. For the last six years, Jeff has been an equity capital markets advisor, working with companies and their stakeholders as they prepare to go public – on positioning and messaging, engaging with banks and research analysts, syndicate build, public company modeling and investor relations, meeting the right potential investors, and pricing and allocation. Jeff will uniquely complement Riveron’s existing financial reporting, technical accounting,  strategic communications, and ESG capabilities for public and private companies.

“With the addition of Jeff, a proven capital markets leader, Riveron continues to build an industry-leading IPO Advisory business,” commented Ozan Gursel, Riveron’s Financial Advisory segment leader. “Jeff has more than 30 years of experience counseling clients throughout the IPO process, from messaging, modeling and readiness, syndicate building, and investor relations support. He will work closely with Riveron’s IPO Readiness and Strategic Communications practices as executives and strategic investors contemplate entering the public markets and prepare for financial disclosures and public communications of corporate performance. Companies need an integrated perspective when embarking on such a complex, fast-moving process, and with the addition of Jeff to our team of experts, Riveron will be able to serve our clients throughout the entire IPO and public markets cycle.”

“Advising companies on the transition from private to public requires deep industry domain expertise — and collaborative relationships with investment bankers, capital markets leaders, and equity research analysts — along with historical perspective across a range of mission-critical issues. It also requires a strong data and analytics foundation and true understanding of the current market environment, peer analysis, and what institutional investors look for when deciding what to invest their time and capital in,” said Jeff Bernstein, senior managing director at Riveron. “Riveron’s proven leadership in providing independent and integrated expertise to the Office of the CFO, as well as the entire C-Suite and Board of Directors, allows us to now offer a truly broad and deep suite of services to our clients and their stakeholders as they prepare for and execute a public offering.”

To date, Riveron has supported more than 150 capital markets transactions with robust capabilities across accounting and transaction advisory, tax, risk management, and operational transformation. The firm added industry-leading investor relations and ESG communications offerings by acquiring Strategic Communications powerhouse Clermont Partners in 2022. With the addition of Jeff and his equity capital markets expertise, Riveron is rounding out its comprehensive suite of accounting, capital markets, and public market communications offerings.
