Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) provider Host Analytics held its annual conference in Las Vegas from May 20-22. Perform 2019 convened more than 1,000 finance innovators for three days of dynamic learning about this transformative technology. As a partner of Host Analytics, Riveron attended the conference in order to meet with customers and other partner firms. During this time, we discussed best practices, exciting new trends, and learned more about how customers are using the Host Analytics Platform. Here are our key takeaways from Perform 2019:

The integration will enable validation throughout the close process and will eliminate unnecessary reconciliation between general ledger and consolidated balances. More importantly, it provides current customers and prospects with the choice and flexibility to pursue applications that best fit their business needs, without beholding them to a legacy module or vendor.
2. Collaboration is Key: Communication and collaboration is vital to ensuring success in key areas of finance and accounting such as close, consolidation, and planning. In its latest software release, Host Analytics launched enhanced workflow, which includes enhancements to Task Manager that enable automatic task generation for users.
3. Reporting Made Easy: Between Spotlight for Office and enhanced dashboarding capability, Host Analytics customers are leveraging the platform to make their lives easier than ever before. Savvy Host Analytics customers know that you don’t need to move data in and out of Excel to create great management visuals and board packages, and that you can quickly update these presentations with the click of a button.
4. Future is Bright: Perhaps the most exciting theme throughout the conference was the continued investment that Host Analytics places in its product and people. The growth of the team supporting development, customers, and partners provided an important look at the future of the company as it continues to expand. Current and future Host Analytics customers should feel comfortable and optimistic about the future in this ever-changing industry.
