Riveron Welcomes Julie Howard to Board of Directors

Riveron is proud to welcome Julie Howard, former chairman and chief executive officer of Navigant Consulting, to its board of directors. Howard brings to her new role more than 30 years of professional services experience in dynamic leadership positions where she was responsible for creating and executing strategy in large, growth-oriented businesses. During her tenure, Navigant led a major transformation of the firm’s business services, resulting in significant shareholder value creation and culminating in the successful sale of the business in 2019.

“We are thrilled to welcome Julie to the Riveron family, where she will no doubt play a critical role in shaping the direction of our firm” said Riveron Founder and CEO Landon Smith. “Julie’s wealth of industry expertise and important perspectives on a range of today’s most pressing business issues will be instrumental as Riveron continues its exciting growth journey.”

“In today’s uncertain business landscape, companies must be nimble to evolving client needs and distinguish themselves to drive value and maintain a growth orientation,” said Howard. “It is Riveron’s continued ability to do just that which makes it an exceptional environment for its clients and its people—an environment to which I am excited to contribute.”

Throughout her professional career, Howard has been a champion for workplace equity. She is a founding member of the Women’s Leadership and Mentoring Alliance (WLMA), which aims to provide leadership development and mentoring opportunities to professional women in an open, supportive environment. At Riveron, Howard will play a leadership role in strengthening the organization’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging program.

In addition to her work with WLMA, Howard currently serves on the board of directors for ManpowerGroup and Sleep Number and is a member of the Medical Center Board for Lurie Children’s Hospital. Howard previously served on the board of directors for InnerWorkings and Kemper.

Howard joins Christopher Alberta as an external advisor on Riveron’s board. Alberta, who joined the board of directors last year, is CEO of TKC Holdings. He previously served as senior operating partner at HIG Capital, CEO at Trinity Services Group, and senior managing director at Conway MacKenzie.
