A recent conversation with Michelle Kuhr, managing director of the Chicago office, explored the significance of this recent win for Riveron employees and clients alike.

“Being a Top Workplace is an incredible honor and a direct reflection of our efforts to create a workplace that keeps our employees engaged and excited about the work that we do for our clients.”

The Chicago office was founded in 2010 and was the inaugural expansion office after the Dallas headquarters. More than 13 years later, the office location has grown to employ nearly 150 people and cultivates a thriving culture for its employees.” says Michelle.

“Winning the Top Workplace award makes us stand out in the marketplace as a great employer and attractive resource for our clients,” Michelle adds.

Riveron’s Chicago office is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant workplace for all employees. The office engages in regular lunches, happy hours, and learning initiatives centered around various Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that advocate for the firm’s diverse and ever-expanding team of experts. Through local and firmwide efforts, the team is proud to support employees’ growth via regular learning and development programs—including a dynamic mentorship program.

Beyond the professional realm, the Chicago office actively sponsors after-work activities, including intermural sports and various charitable efforts fostering further employee connection and forging genuine friendships.

Michelle says, “There is always an upcoming event or activity that folks are looking forward to. It’s fantastic to see our teams take ownership of these efforts through organizing, planning, and realizing some incredible programs and events!”

When asked about what’s next for the Chicago office, Michelle exudes tremendous excitement in discussing the new, soon-to-open office space. “The new workplace is really phenomenal – it has been designed to foster an even greater sense of community and collaboration at Riveron. I can’t wait to welcome employees and clients alike for many years to come.”
