Clay specializes in guiding private equity firms and corporate management teams through complex transactions, including buy-side and sell-side leveraged buyouts, minority positions, carve-outs, and spin-offs. His expertise spans various industries such as business services, industrials, consumer products, climate/ESG, technology, healthcare, life sciences and gaming.
Clay’s professional experience includes understanding historical operating results, assessing changes in business models, and evaluating financial projections to support investment theses. He excels in identifying and quantifying non-operating income and expenses, non-cash activities, and the impact of changes in accounting policies on historical and projected results.
