As a managing director, Pedro Soto advises clients in Latin America, Europe, and the United States, providing restructuring advisory to boards of directors, senior management, creditors, and debtors facing significant financial or operational restructurings.

Background

Pedro Soto brings nearly 15 years of experience advising publicly-traded and private corporations, financial institutions, investment funds, governments, and nonprofits as well as executing performance improvement turnarounds as a chief financial officer.

Before joining the firm, Pedro served as chief financial officer and head of restructuring for AAFAF, the financial advisor for the Government of Puerto Rico on its $120B debt restructuring, the largest municipal restructuring in US capital markets’ history. Before AAFAF, he was a banking executive at a $50B financial institution, responsible for business strategy and profitability improvement and turnaround efforts.
