As a Team Member, You Will:

  • Collaborate with the New Markets Team, National Sales Leader, National BD team, Client Service Managing Directors and the San Francisco Market Leader (or EMD) to fulfill the following responsibilities:
  • Build and deliver go-to-market plan (“GTM”) for the expansion effort in tandem with stakeholders
  • Create, enact and manage a territory plan inclusive of defined strategic targets
  • Procure and build relationships with contacts in-market to source new accounts and related opportunities based on GTM and territory plans. This includes core buyers, centers of influence and other intermediaries
  • Build and manage local relationships with Riveron channel partners, including technology providers, audit firms and investment banks
  • Support senior team members (e.g. client service Managing Directors) that are also driving pursuits
  • Draft tailored collateral, proposals, and legal documents, inclusive of fee determinations / structures (e.g. Engagement Letters, Professional Services Agreements, NDA’s, etc.)
  • Monitor won engagements and collaborate with CSMD’s to identify expansion and cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain and elevate in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, such as competitor intel, market share, demographic trends and growth projections
  • Collaborate with Marketing to provide input on the marketing plan/calendar for Year 1 and assist in successfully executing marketing events / campaigns
  • Support the expansion effort from a business development perspective
  • Your Experience Includes:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in a client serving capacity from any of the following: Accounting/CPA firms OR Advisory/management consulting firms
  • Detailed knowledge of at least 1 core area of Riveron’s service offerings
  • Demonstrated selling aptitude, whether in sourcing opportunities, expanding engagements, etc.
  • Established network in market, whether private equity, corporate, lenders or other relevant contacts
  • Demonstrated listening and critical thinking skills in client facing situations
  • Efficiency in PowerPoint
  • Professional experience in / exposure to any of the following industries: Technology, Financial services, Consumer, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing
  • Not required, but advantageous attributes include: Prior selling experience (i.e. sourcing of opportunities that led to generated revenues, running a pursuit from start to completion, etc.) and/or knowledge of Salesforce
  • Characteristics for Success in This Role:

  • Extremely high level of communication and collaboration, with the ability to present in front of Executives
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit and solution-oriented mindset
  • Proactive self-starter who is ready to perform on day one
  • Strong listening skills and excellent follow through
  • Strong relationship building skills. Will go the extra mile to ensure client’s needs are met and taken care of
  • Thoroughly understand all Riveron offerings and key subject matter experts for each to effectively determine the appropriate solution to pitch and assemble a pursuit team
  • Desire to get involved in the Riveron culture and internal initiatives, including community service, training, interviewing, intramurals and other social/networking activities
  • Being an Ambassador of Riveron both internally and externally. As a founding member of a new market you will need to be a leader that works to stay involved in Riveron initiatives and building them in San Francisco.
